Khrystyne Wins Two Silver Creative Awards For Logo Design at the 2011 Summit International Creative Awards

KRS Summit Awards“I’m honored to have been recognized again this year for my work.” says Robillard-Smith, “The economy is taking a turn and small businesses are teaming up to achieve great things. It’s an exciting time to be a freelancer.”

The Summit Creative Awards recognize and celebrate the creative accomplishments of small and medium sized advertising agencies and other creative groups with annual billings of $30 million or less. Over the seventeen years, the competition has established itself as the premier arbiter of creative excellence for firms of this size.

“Winning a Summit Creative Award is a significant accomplishment. The combination of our excellent judges and the tough judging criteria ensures that only deserving entries receive Summit recognition,” said Jocelyn Luciano, Executive Director for the Summit International Awards, “Submissions are evaluated based on the strength of the idea, the quality of the execution and the ability to persuade.”

This year’s creative competition included thousands of entries from more than 22 countries around the world competing for roughly 120 top honor spots.

“The success of these logos is due to a combination of a thoughtful design process and the collaboration of client and artist working together towards a common goal.” says Robillard-Smith. “It’s so wonderful to work with clients that value creativity and who have excellent communication skills. Those two aspects make working together is a pleasure!”

“I loved working with Khrystyne. She ‘got’ what I was trying to do and provided innovative and creative solutions. In addition, her sense of humor made working with her very enjoyable. Thanks Khrystyne!” – Jamie Forsythe Photography. This logo was created to better attract clientele in the pet, child, and family portraiture industries. Its charm is in the character… is it a bunny? Is it a dog?… it engages the viewer…the answer is whatever you make it.

““Fantastic! Great job, great work, very creative. Would use again in a heartbeat.” – Corrina D, Elite Equine Partners. This logo is for an organization which brings together all types of equine services and products. The idea of the team of horses running together is to symbolize the way each of the service providers work together to educate and elevate the equine lifestyle.
